1-to-1 coaching · Singapore
A private swim coach who is measured by results
Every session is one coach, one swimmer, one clear goal. Whether that goal is a faster 200m, a first confident lap, or moving freely again after an injury.

Why private coaching works
In a group class, the coach divides attention. In a private session, every minute is spent on your swimmer — their stroke, their pace, their goals. That’s why private coaching is the fastest way to fix technique and build confidence.
- Undivided attention from a former SEA Games athlete
- Programme tailored to the swimmer, not the class
- Clear feedback parents can follow
- Small-group sessions also available, with Coach Jina in the water correcting each swimmer
- Flexible scheduling: WhatsApp for slots

Small-group classes
Learn alongside friends, with Coach Jina in the water
Alongside 1-to-1 coaching, Coach Jina runs group sessions at condo pools, from small groups of siblings and friends to squad-style group training. Groups are kept small, and she gets into the water to correct each swimmer individually.
Group sessions suit children who enjoy learning with friends, and families in the same condo who want to share a coach.
- Clear briefings and goals for every set
- Coach in the water, correcting each swimmer
- Held at your condo pool

Frequently asked questions
How much does a private swim coach cost in Singapore?
Fees from $160 per 1-hour session for 1-to-1 coaching with Coach Jina, at your pool or condo. WhatsApp for an exact quote.
Can you come to my condo pool?
Yes. Coach Jina coaches at the student’s location: your condo pool or a public pool near you.
Do you offer small-group sessions?
Yes. Besides private 1-to-1 lessons, Coach Jina also runs small-group sessions, so each swimmer still gets individual attention and correction. WhatsApp her to ask about group sizes, timings and fees. WhatsApp Coach Jina →
Do you get into the water to correct swimmers during the session?
Yes, I do!
Sometimes, explaining a technical movement from the pool deck is not enough for a swimmer to fully understand what they need to feel in the water.
Take the catch phase, for example. A swimmer may understand the instructions I give them, but still struggle to feel how their hands and forearms engage with the water to create propulsion.
By getting into the pool, I can provide closer, hands-on guidance to help the swimmer understand the movement and develop a better feel for the water.
Swimming is not just about knowing what to do. It is also about developing the right sensory awareness to recognise how a movement feels and how it affects propulsion.
Sometimes, the best way to teach a swimmer what to feel is to guide them through the movement in the water.
Do you offer lesson packages (4–8 lessons)?
Lesson packages are available for group classes, but not for stroke correction or private 1-to-1 lessons.
The reason is simple: every swimmer learns at a different pace and has different technical needs.
For stroke correction and private lessons, I assess each swimmer individually to understand their current abilities, identify areas for improvement and determine the appropriate coaching approach.
Some swimmers may progress through certain skills more quickly, while others may require more time, practice and reinforcement to achieve the same outcome.
Rather than placing every swimmer into a fixed package, I prefer to focus on their individual progress and the coaching they actually need.
My priority is to provide a personalised learning experience rather than rush the process to fit a predetermined number of lessons.
